What I finance

Equipment first.
Cash flow when the need is clear.

My specialty

Equipment leasing and financing

You keep your cash to run the business. Payments follow the useful life of the equipment.

  • Machinery and production equipment
  • Trucks and commercial vehicles
  • Professional equipment (clinic, restaurant, aesthetics)
  • New or used equipment
  • Refinancing of equipment you already own

Factoring

Your clients pay in 60 or 90 days, but payroll goes out every week. We turn your invoices into cash.

Working capital

For a specific need: a contract to start, a season to get through, inventory to finance.

Financing examples

When the bank says “half”,
it isn't always the last word.

DentistCustom furniture for the clinic

The bank only offered $150,000. The $300,000 project was financed in full.

The client, a dentist, had a strong file. The problem was the equipment: custom-made furniture is hard to resell, so it is hard to take as collateral. I presented the file to lenders who look first at the business's ability to repay.

Industrial machinery dealer

+15% in sales

Financing offered right at the dealership

I set up a financing program for this dealer. Its customers can now get a loan on the spot, when they buy their equipment. Result observed after several weeks of offering financing to its B2B customers.

Drone technology

$85,000 over 14 months

A cash flow loan when the equipment can't be financed

Lenders would not take this new-technology equipment as collateral. The solution was a cash flow loan, based on the business rather than on the equipment.

Clients not named. Every file is different and no result is guaranteed in advance.

Why a former commercial account manager

For almost 20 years, I sat on the other side of the desk. When a file didn't fit the boxes, I had no other door to open. Today, I have more than ten.

What the lender looks at first

1

Your bank statements

Regular deposits, no NSFs, no late payments.

2

The owner's credit

The lenders we target generally ask for a personal score of about 600 or more.

3

Existing financing

The more there already is, the better the file needs to be presented.

How it works

One application, several lenders, you choose.

STEP 1

We talk

A call or the eligibility form: your business, the equipment, the approximate amount.

STEP 2

I build the file

I tell you exactly which documents to prepare, and I present them the way an analyst wants to read them.

STEP 3

I present it to the right lenders

Not to everyone: to those who finance this type of equipment and business.

STEP 4

You compare and decide

You receive a concrete proposal. That is when you see whether it suits you.

Business owner on the phone taking notes

You explain your project, I take care of the file

A 30-minute call is often enough to know which lenders to look at and which documents to prepare. After that, I build and present the file.

Frequently asked questions

The questions I get asked most.

What is your rate?

I can't give you a rate in advance: I work with more than 10 lenders and each one sets its terms based on the business, the equipment and the file. That is the advantage of a broker: you receive a concrete proposal, and that is when you see whether it suits you.

Do you finance used equipment?

Yes, depending on the age, type and value of the equipment and the lender's criteria.

What credit score do I need?

A credit check may be required. With the lenders currently targeted, a personal score of about 600 is generally required.

My bank said no. Is it worth trying?

It depends on the reason for the refusal. A refusal doesn't mean another solution is automatically possible, but it is worth looking.

How long does it take?

It depends on the lender and the file. A complete file from the start avoids back-and-forth, and that is what saves the most time.

I already have a bank. Why go through you?

You keep your bank. One application lets you compare several lenders instead of depending on a single institution and a single credit policy.

Planning an equipment purchase this year?

Tell me what you want to buy. I will tell you honestly what is realistic and which documents to prepare.
